Visited a saloon. Gotta have whiskey!

The place was so awesome, several other RV's also pulled in.

Apparently AZ has several different time zones.

This morning I went to RP's Stage Stop  international Cafe for breakfast alone. Brad found nothing he wanted on the menu so he had a nice buffet breakfast at a Mexican Restaurant.

Large and sooo peaceful we decided to stay another night.

Brad had a biscuit on top of home fries covered with sausage gravy.

Las Vegas, New Mexico is a fun little town, nice to walk around.  Little shops

These 2 guys help Brad jury-rig the plug. We are still looking for the right one

Two hours later when rock pavement had cooled down I walked her. Not far, but I got to see the lake and a rabbit.

This time when we had a snack during the day we put on the generator to run the air conditioner while we ate in the diner.

The temperature was around 100 F and a Real Feel of 120

Nice lunch at pie a shop off the highway. And, of course we had to have pie for dessert. Their specialty is meringue pies, Brad got lemon and I got coconut custard

For lunch we found a local joint where you order and find a seat for yourself. Great food

When she said it, it clicked in my head she was right. It never got itchy. The rash lasted a few days

The walk in the woods was uneventful. No creeks here, although we actually walked up a dry one on the trail

Upon arriving in the camp I was claustrophobic as it was so close and crowded.  Still close in the RV section, but not as crowded.

31 years later, here we are, retired and travelling in a class C camper

I was staring down a steep drop and when I looked out - gorgeous!

A couple of days here at Ironwood just what we needed, some R&R after our bittersweet leaving.
