As a college student, I lived near Chicago, and I was able to listen to some great talent.

I recall when Larry King had one of these Right Wing liars on, I called to rebut the lies he was  saying, and found myself shut down.  In the control booth, I was shut off. 

Mike has bounced around the radio dial for at least 20 years.  I know, I followed him from WLS to WIN Radio a Union sponsored station to Air America and to Nova.

Are you any relation to that Justice kid who was in the play?

I miss non-political talk Radio.  I miss Jean Shepherd, I miss Long John Nebel.   I miss radio where you could listen, and not feel insulted.

It starred Richard Boone playing a gunfighter for hire who went by the name, Paladin.

I usually called Walt Bodine.  But not all my calls were to state my political beliefs.  Rather, I enjoyed his program and contributed whenever possible, staying on topic.

At 68, soon to be 70, I am still looking for what I may do when I grow up.
