Recently I wrote that there are some actions the Democratic Party should undertake to stop the daily stream of illegal, unconstitutional and morally wrong actions of President Trump and his jackals. Not to exclude his proxy, Elon Musk. I wrote about about the need for the Democratic Party to take action over words; fully aware their leaders refuse to defrost their hubris and actually take action.
Keep in mind that both the Democratic Party and the Republican party must exit the political stage. Unless one of them does, political parties and elections will become moot in the too distant future. If both remain, the Republicans will become the Globetrotters and the Democrats will be the Washington Generals. If either one disintegrates we just go back to the current status quo. (prior 2025) Should both go away, America can move forward, and a true democratic republic could be possible. The choice will be up to us.
The leaders of the Democratic party have spent nearly six weeks telling Americans that we must wait for 2026 and elect a Democratic Congress. If they can hang on, that just might happen, but the results will not differ from today should they win a majority in either branch of Congress. The party’s reliable rank and file only hear the party leaders speak. And the leaders only hear themselves speak. And why not, they are certain they know how to win elections! Unfortunately their brains are full of hubris, frozen solid in the past. Already their best buddy pundits are telling them to compromise by giving the people what they want, as defined by the Republican agenda. Justice is not even a consideration. And so, the Democrats helped to pass a cruel immigration bill that presumes every immigrant (legal or not, who has the time & energy to check!) are killing machines bent on rape, plunder, and murder. Sure, a few Dems withheld their vote, but that is all the party did, vote.
Both parties, with very few dissenters from either one, support at least one of the two proxy wars we are arming. Most Congress persons support both arming Israel in their quest to turn the Palestinian territories into rubble and dirt. The same in Ukraine where we supply weapons to fight a proxy war against Russia. Hubris frozen since the Cold War.
How can things change, elections or no, while the party that claims to support democratic ideals, won’t even listen to people that have voted for them election after election who are now walking away because the democratic party does not know what these people want and the politicians endorse a “kinder gentler machine gun hand”. That hand is the Free Market invisible hand. Nothing for the people until the donors are paid first.
Democrats will not act beyond speeches and lawsuits. Speeches, at least energize and inform, but only a couple of them take that route but without any backing from the Iced Hubris Democratic leadership. The lawsuits that are being filed against MAGA/DOGE activities are leveraging the most deliberative branch of the US Government to force change. A long slow walk that falls behind while the Republican/Maga train is in a new station every six hours. They may eventually win in the courts, only to discover the win came after the Trump MAGAs clinched control. So, when I call for the Dems to break rules, I know they will not listen, not just myself, but also millions of others that recognize America is broken. Its systems, laws and even its constitution have all become victims of entropy. We need to emulate James Madison et al. and choose reinvent our foundations into something more perfect. The first step is to disintegrate the duopoly and fire the oligarchs by disruption, and breaking rules.
