We drove through Death Valley for about 2 hours. Now we are at Boulder Creek RV resort in Lone Pine, California.
Death Valley was similar to the Petrified Forest in that it is vast and ever changing. Though I know many people must have died here, somehow it exuded a peacefulness. Brad felt this also. On the Santa Fe Trail I felt the settlers fighting, not wanting to die. I felt their spirits calling out, even to this day, and beyond I imagine. The cowboys and adventurous folk who succumbed in Death Valley let go and now rest in peace.
