We spent our time in Zion Canyon walking around a bit (as much as I could in the heat). Shopped for knickknacks. Had lunch at a great diner. Headed out early so we had a buffet breakfast out. Very nice
On to the Valley of Fire. Gorgeous. Red Stones formed like beehives. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised when Brad went to hook up the water, we saw quite a few bees. They were going in the water connection to get water. I saw that and as I am allergic to bees we decided to not hook up to water as we were only staying one night, so we used our own water. The place was so awesome, several other RV’s also pulled in. The heat got to us, though as it was 114 F (real feel) out and 94 in our RV. I kept a wet cool dish towel on Mitzvah. Wasn’t til around 9:30 pm that it was 80 in the RV.
Brad saw a roadrunner on the drive in. I’m jealous! Such a beautiful place but go in cooler weather.
