Back to New Mexico so we can go to the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest, then in 2 days the Grand Canyon. Nice place in the desert, hot but dry heat and cool in the evening. They have a huge gift shop I am planning on exploring more. They serve supper out on a patio with ice cream after (for a fee). We met several nice couples that we chatted with. One couple said the Bryce Canyon was better to see than the Grand Canyon, much more color. We hope to see it.
