Huge, commercial city. Culture shock after driving through the beauty of nature. Clean, but kinda trashy RV park, the creek next to it is full of trash, and some homeless people hang out nearby. It is situated next to fast food restaurants and is very convenient to everything.
Brad took a bike path into the city to get his 2nd tire repaired. When he got back it took less than 10″ for an Uber to get us to the Garden of the Gods. Since we got there late, we took a trolley tour and learned the history of the place. I think we will come back and drive a straightforward route and stay at the Garden of Gods RV park. We did try, but couldn’t get in for a couple weeks.
