We are now camped in an RV campground right in the Raton Pass. On the border between New Mexico and Colorado. We are at an 8,000 foot altitude. Remember the beauty of the world when your eyes first discovered it? Come here to recapture that beauty. Mountains as you look up, mountains as you look down. Spaciousness beyond description.
Hummingbirds everywhere. Feeders are out for them. They flit they fly, then vanish in the blink of an eye. Red birds, green ones. Other birds here, look at them, red, black with white specked underbelly. Woodpeckers
Somehow let us all come here someday in peace.
