We left Turtle Bayou RV Resort this morning. We are getting efficient, our get up and go time is down to 2 1/2 hours (we linger over breakfast because that’s what we do).
Mitzvah was one happy dog to get outa of there. She was so jumpy the entire time we were there. Spirits from the Bayou must have spooked her.
Nice lunch at pie a shop off the highway. And, of course we had to have pie for dessert. Their specialty is meringue pies, Brad got lemon and I got coconut custard. Delish!
That was after Brad somehow got thru the huge interchange of Houston highways. No easy job!!
We are now at Oak Forest RV Resort in Austin. They are working on the place. As is, it’s large and clean. We are on a grassy spot with a tree. Texas in June so it is Hot, Hot, Hot. Despite that, as soon as we got in, I walked over to do to 3 loads of laundry. Laundry is near, so that helped. Then, clean the RV. Brad was off to get his new bike tire.
